His. Story.

Have you ever thought about his

Yes, the poor, dirty faced, foul-smelling

underground busker’s story!

He was rich. Now poor. Had a

future that had absolutely nothing to do with floors……and yet. There

he is. For you to catch a glimpse as

you walk on past like you gave him

his brass.

If he’s lucky you”ll fling him some

copper. Of course, that’s easier

than sacrificing something proper.

And now you’re on your way,

continuing your day, earning your

pay….I’ll ask you again.

Have you ever thought about his story?

How he had to give up on his dreams and

aspirations when the un-

imaginable became reality.

How stability became banality.

Sanity turned insanity.

Sanctity became a rareity.

There on the floor he faced the

worl’ds flaws, saw them one by one

as he contracted their pores and

that was that.

Needy became his identity

Humanity owned his longevity

And nobody truly gave a damn.

Who was he?
